| The investigation resulted in the court ordered confiscation of all animals on the property. We confiscated 8 horses, 13 goats, 19 dogs, 4 cats, several ducks and chickens, and some guinea hens.
Update 2/9/06: The court date has now been set for April 6th, 2006. One of the cocker spaniels died shortly after rescuing. The horses had severe thrush (hoof rot). One mare was suggested for euthanization since the infection went all the way into her shin bones. The horse rescuer is trying to save her anyway. The rest of the animals are now in great shape. |
